Children and young people bring a wide range of life experiences into the classroom, and these experiences can have a significant impact on their wellbeing, relationships, behaviour, and learning. The Northumberland Schools C.A.R.E. Training provides an opportunity for education professionals to deepen their understanding of attachment, trauma, and the role of positive relationships in supporting successful outcomes for pupils.
Through a relational lens, the training will encourage participants to reflect on how everyday interactions can help children feel safe, connected, and ready to engage with learning. Staff will gain valuable insight into why some pupils may respond differently to challenges and how schools can create environments that promote resilience, belonging, and emotional wellbeing.
This training is suitable for anyone working with children and young people in Northumberland schools.
