Bikeability bookings for the academic year 2026-27 are now open, and we would like to invite schools to book this now. Attached is the booking form with available dates and information pack for you to review. This training is all fully funded, and a wonderful enrichment activity for your students where they learn a valuable life skill.
This training is for pupils in Year 5-6 who can confidently ride a cycle without stabilisers and are ready to begin making on-road journeys. There is a Level One refresher at the start of every course for which playground space is needed, all children who achieve the outcomes of this will progress to on-road training in the local area for the rest of the week. This training takes place over 2-4 days depending on the size of the cohort. Pupils need to provide their own roadworthy cycle and helmet.

Please note all bookings are subject to funding; in the event that the demand exceeds the funding, you will be offered the opportunity to keep the booking on a privately funded basis.
