The affected products are: – ValueAid Alcohol Free Cleansing Wipes – Microsafe Moist Wipe Alcohol Free – Steroplast Sterowipe Alcohol Free Cleansing Wipes – Reliwipe Alcohol Free Cleansing Wipes The wipes were found to be contaminated with Burkholderia species. Although the overall risk is low and the products have been withdrawn from sale, some may still be in use. These wipes, and any non‑sterile alcohol‑free wipes, should not be used on wounds, broken skin, or to clean intravenous lines.
