Early Years Inclusion & SEND
Welcome to the Early Years Inclusion and SEND page. This page brings together guidance, resources and support for early years providers across Northumberland. Whether you are seeking advice about inclusive practice, identifying emerging needs, applying for funding or supporting transitions, you will find key information and resources here.
Early Years Inclusion Support
Supporting early years providers to create inclusive environments and meet the needs of children with SEND.
The Early Years Inclusion Consultants and Local Area Early Years SENCo work in partnership with early years providers to promote inclusive practice and support children with emerging needs and SEND. Through advice, guidance, inclusion visits, strategic support and signposting to resources and services, we help settings to develop high-quality provision, build staff confidence and ensure children and families receive the support they need.
