Following the incredible NCC SEND Conference in June 2025, we have had some interest from schools regarding Jude Macdonald’s provision map. Jude explained at the conference how this tool is being used to inform the strategic direction for schools, classrooms strategies to reduce teacher workload, and a simple way of information sharing to ensure SEND is understood by all members of the organisation.
When is it?
Jude will run an online virtual teams session Thursday 15th January 2026, 9.15-3.15pm
What is the intent?
To reduce staff workload while managing more complex SEND through strategic communication that ensure economies of scale
Who is it aimed at?
All settings across Northumberland and those with children/young people from Northumberland including EY settings/providers and alternative providers
What is the cost?
Free to Northumberland settings and stakeholders, including settings who have children/young people from Northumberland outside of the county

What will be provided?
Jude will provide a blank map, full training resources for school leaders attending, and the training you need to deliver in schools to launch it successfully as well as supporting you with getting started on the day.
Who will run the session?
Jude will be accompanied by Alison England, Keys Trust Director of Primary who is an EYFS and primary specialist.
