The MeLSA (Mediated Learning Support Approach) course is based on mediated learning principles. Mediated learning involves bridging the gap between the learner and the task by interacting with learners in a way that encourages them to think about WHAT they are doing, HOW they are doing it and WHY. This helps to develop the learner’s language, knowledge and thinking and also promotes good learning behaviours.
