We are pleased to present a series of webinars based around the EEF’s Literacy Guidance reports led by Caroline Bilton and Sarah Stock. They will share salient points to provoke and deepen thinking around reading. This will include use of the latest evidence to inform and develop practice.
What are the aims of this session?
- Outline the balance between the teaching of decoding and comprehension as children, begin their journey to become readers
- Outline evidence and practical strategies which supports the developments of speech and language
- Outline the teaching of reading comprehension and the practical implications for teaching
