Every year, the Dfe requires Local Authorities to contact the parents of Year 8 and 9 pupils with information about schools in the region that offer provision at ‘atypical’ entry points. This is just for information only and does not require any action unless parents would like to consider one of the settings listed. As we do not have email contacts for all parents we are asking that schools send the attached letter to Year 8 and 9 via parent-mail or a similar electronic sharing system.
