Child Safety Week 2026 runs from Monday 1st to Sunday 7th June. Organised by the Child Accident Prevention Trust (CAPT), this year’s theme is ‘Making Prevention Possible’ building practical capacity for safety behaviour in families and the professionals who work with them.
CAPT have made it straightforward for schools to get involved, with free downloadable resources including fact sheets, activity sheets, session plans and display materials. For schools with diverse communities, a number of fact sheets are also available in translation.
