Northumberland’s Schools Forum are meeting on 27 November 2024 to consider the information in relation to the current SEN position and also in relation to School Funding for 2025/26. Due to the General Election during the summer, no information has yet been published providing indicative National Funding Formula values for 2025/26 but the ESFA have published a general policy briefing available “HERE” .
In order to inform the Schools Forum discussion we are keen to get the views from as many schools as possible so would encourage you to consider the information and complete the consultation by Tuesday 26 November 2024, but the consultation will remain open until 5.00pm on Monday 02 December 2024.
It supported a transfer of up to 0.5% from the Schools Block to the High Needs Block in light of the significant rise in Education Health and Care Plans and resulting SEN costs.
