What is the Healthy Families Plan?
This important plan outlines how Growing Healthy Northumberland 0–19 (25) Service, (previously known as the Northumberland Health Visiting and School Nursing Service), will contribute to our shared vision for children, young people, and their families.
It supports the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme and was developed in partnership between Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust and Northumberland County Council.
The plan represents a united and collaborative approach to improving outcomes for families across the county.
What to Expect at the Launch Event
During the session, we will:
· Introduce the Healthy Families Plan
· Highlight the power of partnership working
· Showcase latest developments available in our Northumberland Family Hubs, who are integral partners in achieving the goals of the Healthy Families Plan.
This information-sharing event is relevant to anyone working with, or alongside, families in Northumberland, offering an opportunity to strengthen connections and stay informed about local developments.
We particularly welcome colleagues from Primary Healthcare, Education, and the VCSE sector, as well as anyone with an interest in supporting children, young people, and families across our community.
