RISE Attendance and Behaviour Hubs Programme (DfE)

RISE stands for Regional improvement for standards and excellence and, “aims to break the link between young people’s backgrounds and their future success”.

RISE will operate at 2 levels:

  • providing bespoke targeted interventions to eligible schools
  • being a universal service to all schools

The RISE Attendance and Behaviour (A&B) Hubs Programme offers schools practical, school-led support to improve attendance and behaviour. 36 further hubs (57 in total) across the country have now been announced by the Secretary of State.

The Enhanced Support pathway provides 10 days of tailored support to help your school identify priorities, build an improvement plan, and embed lasting change.

The Regional Support pathway offers structured CPD, professional networks, and opportunities to share and learn from good practice across a wider group of schools. Both pathways include visiting lead schools.

Some Northumberland schools may be contacted to be offered a space on either the Enhanced or Regional Support Offers. Other schools have already been asked to indicate their interest in the programme via an expression of interest form, and will be selected for support based on eligibility criteria. The local authority has not been provided with a list of who those schools are.

If you feel your school would benefit from this programme, please sign up via this form.
