Helping Children & Young People complete our Libraries Consultation

image

Northumberland Libraries are thinking of making some changes. They want thoughts from children, young people and adults on the changes being proposed.

In February, libraries launched a public consultation so that they can get views on the future of libraries, including:

  • How they work with communities
  • Opening hours and mobile library routes
  • Using new technologies
  • How they deliver events, activities and information

How to have your say (adults)

Libraries want our communities, including educators and schools, to have your say by taking part in the consultation.

They recommend reading the background information and proposals before completing the consultation.

Adults can complete the consultation here: https://nland.cc/libraries-survey-adults-education

You do not need to be a member of the libraries to have your say. The Schools Library Service is not being consulted on in this consultation.

Encouraging children and young people to have their say

People 16 and under can complete the children and young people consultation here: https://nland.cc/libraries-survey-CYP-education

Please help by encouraging the children and young people in your care to take part and contribute to the future of libraries in Northumberland.
