Dear Colleagues,
We have relocated James Calvert Spence College to their new build.
We are therefore able to offer some legacy furniture to other schools in Northumberland.
An example of the furniture on offer is:
- Tables;
- Design Technology equipment;
- Science furniture;
- Books – including curriculum textbooks;
- Noticeboards;
- Catering equipment; and
- Other miscellaneous furniture and equipment.
If you are interested in viewing the items available, please contact Robyn Marley: Robyn.Marley@northumberland.gov.uk
It would be preferable for you to view and collect the items at the same time, but we understand for larger items, colleagues may need to return with suitable transport.
You will need to book an appointment:
- Wednesday 30 September 2026 for Coquet partnership schools only
- Thursday 01 and Friday 02 October 2026 for all schools
Robyn will meet you on site at James Calvert Spence College. This is for viewing and collecting of furniture.
- Please note, you will be required to bring your own labels to write your school name on and stick on the items that you wish to remove (if you are unable to take immediately).
Please note: We require furniture to be removed from the site by Friday 02 October 2026 at the very latest, preferably earlier.
Furniture will also be allocated on a first come, first served basis. If you do not return to collect your items at the agreed time, they will be offered to the following schools to view and collect.
