You’re invited to our COP30 Event, County Hall, Morpeth on Friday 21st November 2025, from 9:30am – 1pm
Following on from our COP29 Event last year (you can read about it here), we are holding another event this year, which will be an in-person COP30 focussed in-person event, looking at climate action across the world, as well as what more local actions are taking place across Northumberland within schools. It will be open to Teachers and up to 5 students, from years 8 – 11 across schools in Northumberland.

The session will cover:
- A chance for students to look at climate views from across the world in a mini UN style COP30 summit (Before the session you’ll be required to prep a 1 minute speech based on the country you are allocated, with all information being sent through to you ahead of the event)
- What schools are currently doing in the climate space, including what your school is working on
- What schools could further get involved with and some ideas for the future
We’ll be sending full details out to you once you’ve registered, and will let you know more about the organisation, logistics, documentation etc. in the next couple of weeks.
