The School Aged Immunisation Service will shortly be sending information to schools and ask that this is shared with families before the end of term in July.
The information also asks you to provide updated class lists for all year groups, particularly for the new starters in Reception, Year 5, Year 7, and Year 9.
During the summer, the School Aged Immunisation Service reviews responses and follows up with families who haven’t replied, helping to support those facing digital, language, or access barriers. From September, the focus shifts fully to delivering vaccinations to around 130,000 children, limiting capacity for follow-up work. Timely submission of class lists is therefore essential. If there are concerns about pupil movement, the School Aged Immunisation Service can follow up directly with families.
Thank you for your continued support; it is greatly appreciated.
