NCC are hosting a couple of climate and sustainability events in the Autumn Term. Please do save the dates, and we’ll be sending out sign-up information in September.
Climate and Sustainability Event for Teachers
We are holding an in-person Climate Event at the beginning of the new school year on Monday 5th October 2026 at County Hall, Morpeth, from 10am – 1pm that will bring Teachers together to focus on hearing more about a number of climate programmes (including the National Education Nature Park, Climate Action Advisors at Let’s Go Zero and Climate Ambassadors), as well as hearing more about the climate and sustainability support NCC can offer.
COP31
Like in previous years, for COP29 and COP30, we are holding an in-person COP31 event on Friday 13th November 2026 at County Hall, from 10am – 1pm, which will look at climate action across the world, as well as what more local actions are taking place across Northumberland within schools. It will be a morning event and will be open to Teachers and up to 5 Students, from years 8 – 11.
Do look out for more information coming out shortly, and do let us know if you have any questions about any of the above events, or have any other climate and sustainability based queries.
