The North East Ambition Primary Team are delighted to invite you to our upcoming Summer Primary Careers Conference at Sunderland College, Bede Campus on Friday 4 July.
The conference will bring together primary school careers leaders from across the region to share best practice, look ahead to the future, and consider ways to demonstrate and maximise the impact of the careers programme in school.
The theme of the conference is ‘creative growth’ and during the day, you will have the opportunity to hear from experts across the creative industries.
Places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment. (maximum of two places per school).
| Timings: Arrival is from 9:00 with a prompt start at 9:30. Close will be at 15:30. Who should attend? The conference is for primary School Careers Leaders, SLT and other colleagues interested in developing a strategic approach to career-related learning in primary schools. Workshop themes: The conference will feature interactive workshops, which are all designed to enhance practice and professional development. The workshops will be varied and will include opportunities to meet local employers, develop your own network, and explore approaches to embedding careers in the curriculum. There will also be a deep dive into careers in the creative industries including the opportunity for a tour of the facilities and immersive suite at Sunderland College. |
