Expenditure
Your March return needs to balance to the statement closing balance of the 31st of March. This value can only be obtained on the 1st of April. Balance viewed on the 31st of March can still change throughout the day. Any returns received with the incorrect statement balance will be rejected and will need to be amended and resubmitted. The deadline for submitting your March return is the 2nd of April for the expenditure to show in the correct period on your budget reports.

Income
The deadline for submitting your March return is the 2nd of April for the income to show in the correct period on your budget reports. Any card income related to March that will be received into the bank in April should be included on the March return.
