Following consultation with Schools Forum, please find attached a document containing the 2025/26 Dedicated Schools Grant (DSG) budget shares for the year from April 2025 to March 2026. The document is in the order of your 4-digit Department for Education number. A covering letter providing some background information is also provided. In addition to the pdf, an interactive Excel spreadsheet is also provided where you can view your individual School’s Budget Share by selecting the appropriate 7 digit number (including the 929 prefix for Northumberland) from the drop down menu.
All of Northumberland’s 157 mainstream schools are subject to the same funding formula and are included but academies are reminded that their figures are illustrative only. They are funded on an academic year (September to August) basis and the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) is responsible for the issue of their budget shares via their Annual Funding Letter.
