Dear School,
Your final allocation list for pupils starting in September is now available. The School Admissions Team has shared these documents, and they can be accessed within your school folder. If you experience any difficulties accessing the information, please contact the team for support.
Some schools will also have a waiting list, which will be located in the same folder. Where a waiting list exists, it is likely that appeals will be received.
To support this process, we strongly recommend that you begin preparing your appeal submission in advance. This should provide a clear picture of allocations and criteria as they stood on National Offer Day. Appeal panels require detailed and specific information to reach an independent, fair, and legally binding decision.
As allocation changes occur, please update your submission accordingly. For example, if four pupils decline their place on a particular date and the next four pupils on the waiting list are offered a place, the submission should include an updated table clearly showing these changes.
A template outlining the required information and preferred layout has been provided for your use. You may also refer to previous submissions should they be helpful.
Please remember that it is the responsibility of Trust, Academy, and Voluntary Aided schools to complete their appeal submissions and attend the hearing.
If you require assistance or advice, please contact your School Admissions Adviser in the first instance. Additional support is available from Donna Booth, Team Leader, if needed.
