We are delighted to offer you early access to an exciting new, fully funded professional development opportunity.
See attached flyer.
Sentenced to Success is a sustained writing CPD programme led by Stella Jones, Director of Town End Research School, designed to support schools in developing high-quality writing instruction through a focus on sentence construction, composition, modelling and feedback. The programme consists of six online modules and three face-to-face Communities of Practice, all delivered by Stella Jones.
To gain the full benefit of the programme, schools must commit to attending all six online modules and all three face-to-face clinics. We appreciate that the first session takes place shortly after the return from the autumn half-term break (please see the attached programme dates).
To be eligible for the course, schools must of had a Phonics audit from the English Hub within the last two years.
Due to the interactive nature of the programme, places are limited to 20 schools. If you would like to register your interest, please complete the form below:

Please note, by registering your place, this does not guarantee your place on the course. A member of the team will be in touch if you have been allocated a place.
We expect demand to be high and would encourage you to complete the form as soon as possible if you wish to secure a place. Applications will close at 12pm on Friday 6th November 2026, although if we have a high interest, we will close the applications sooner.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
