At Stephenson Steam Railway, we have recently developed a woodland walk- turning two acres of disused land next to our railway line into a haven for wildlife. Attached is a plan of the site so you can see what we have created here. We also have a brand new workshop which focuses on exploring the history of our site and then visiting the woodland walk to record the flora and fauna of the site. At Segedunum Roman Fort, we have a new exhibition entitled Following the Eagle. This exhibition showcases rare Roman military diplomas inscribed on bronze, alongside other archaeological artefacts, exploring themes of identity, service, and travel within the Roman army.
