As we commence the new academic year, the Widening Participation team at Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust have developed a robust offer to engage with and support our education and employability provision across the communities we serve in North Tyneside and Northumberland to align with our Community Promise and Corporate Social Responsibility.
To showcase this offer we have organised an event which will provide a CPD opportunity to professionals who are responsible for careers information, education, advice and guidance to learn more about the opportunities available across our trust including work related learning opportunities.
The day will entail a range of engaging activities including bite size presentations from subject matter experts to showcase the range of careers and pathways available for your service users across clinical and non-clinical roles, networking opportunities with a range of professionals, an interactive tour of our academy along with activities in our simulation centre and virtual reality offering. We are hoping the day will equip attendees with the tools to support their service users to explore career options in the NHS and deliver informed CEIAG linked to our local labour market.
