Adolescent MMR roll out Year 7-11

Millions of parents and carers in England are being urged to book their children in for their missed measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine as part of the continued major NHS drive to protect children from becoming seriously unwell, as measles cases continue to rise across the country.

The School Aged Immunisation Team are now rolling out their Adolescent MMR catch up programme and hope to deliver this vaccination programme into schools before the end of the school year.  The team and/or your schools’  named nurses will be communicating with schools (with year 7 and above) to arrange some catch up sessions (hopefully alongside HPV programme, to minimise disruption to the school).
