Early Years Ordinarily Available Provision Virtual Training
We are running a virtual training session about using the Early Years Ordinarily Available Provision – see attached flyer. The training is suitable for anyone who works with children from birth to 5, and will give you information about how to use the document to support children with emerging needs and SEND within your setting.

Northumberland Early Years are offering a full day training course free for SLA members on Friday 11th July.
As the leader of your provision, you are the key component in establishing the setting ethos and direction for development. Throughout this face-to-face training session, you will be taken on a leadership journey. This will include an opportunity to:
- Build a strong team ethos and vision for the settings future
- Explore how to identify priorities
- Identify key actions to meet the priorities and achieve your vision, including the use of supervision and appraisals, planning training and CPD opportunities, additional opportunities for reflective practice, building the capacity and skillset of your team and creating future leaders.

EYSTAR Panel Sector Representatives for 2025-26
The EYSTAR Panel meets monthly to confirm the allocation of additional funding in response to requests from early years providers to support children with SEND. We are welcoming expressions of interests for a sector representative from both a PVI and School setting for the panels for next academic year. Panels will meet monthly on a Wednesday at 9:30am with dates to be confirmed.
