The North-East Combined Authority is funding a brand-new programme in the popular regional Linking Leaders suite of leadership training. This one is specifically designed for schools who have a current focus on their Early Years offer. Linking Early Years Leaders follows a similar structure to the other four Linking Leaders programmes. Participating schools will explore the most recent EEF research into effective early years practice alongside EEF and Research School colleagues and participate in a supported peer review with a partner school in a neighbouring local authority.
In Linking Early Years Leaders the participants must be the headteacher and the early years lead. Schools from North Tyneside, South Tyneside, Newcastle, Northumberland, Sunderland, Gateshead and Durham are invited to apply for a place and these will be allocated on a first come first saved basis within each authority school group so we get a good balance of schools across the region.
