The Standards and Testing Agency (STA) is currently arranging trials of test materials to support the development of future national curriculum tests. It is a statutory requirement for schools to participate in these trials if they are selected in the trialling sample, and schools selected for trialling KS1 and KS2 tests in 2025, will be contacted by mid-February.
The contractors this year are AlphaPlus and the National Foundation for Educational Research (NFER). They will contact schools that have been selected to take part in 2025 directly. If you receive an email from either AlphaPlus and/or NFER please do not ignore it – you are obliged to take part if selected.
