Early Years Leaders Briefings Autumn Term
Please find information attached.
Early Years Service Level Agreement (SLA) portal is now open for PVI settings and childminders.
Our SLA includes a cycle of support visits across the year. A specialist locality team will be assigned to each subscribing setting, working with you to offer support and to objectively assess and evaluate the quality of provision, build leadership capacity and support you in achieving identified priorities for the forthcoming year. SLA members also benefit from full access to the Early Years Professional Development Programme. Payment for SLA services can be made through The School Readiness Passport via the payment and accounts section in the main menu.
Downloading Learning Library Certificates
Once practitioners have completed a self-led training course on our new Learning Library system, managers and leaders can then download certificates on their behalf. Watch this user guide video for further instructions on how to do this.
Financial Incentive Bonus Scheme
The Early Years Financial Incentive (EYFI) Pilot ends in December 2024. Please see attached for more details and eligibility criteria. If you think you have someone eligible, please complete the following Application Form.

DFE Childcare Expansions Provider Roadshows
The roadshow will be a great opportunity to engage with colleagues and share your ideas, concerns and challenges, as well as to listen to this government’s future ambitions and visions. The new Early Education Minister Stephen Morgan is hoping to come along to this event.
This event is targeted at group-based setting managers who have, or will have, a role or interest in providing additional places as a result of government’s childcare expansion.
