Hadrian’s Wall: Coast-to-Coast Cycle Ride School Design Contest

QTS and Fortivum are coming together for a coast-to-coast charity ride along Hadrian’s Wall to support The Sir Bobby Robson Institute and The Great North Children’s Hospital. To make it even more special, we’re inviting you to get creative and design the cycling jerseys and shorts the riders will wear!

QTS is the global data centre leader across North America and Europe. QTS are building their first data centre campus, redeveloping land at the former Power Station Site in Cambois, near Blyth. Fortivum is a multidisciplinary consultancy based in Dublin, Ireland, specialising in client-side services for data centres across Europe.

The winning design will be worn by all riders in the charity cycle. The winner will start the ride, meet the cyclists at the finish and receive £100 in vouchers for an evening out with their family and £500 worth of art supplies for your school! The top 30 designs will also be made into a collage and displayed at our site and in the first data centre building when it is completed!

The competition is open to pupils aged 8 – 15 years/

Rules for the competition, plus templates for the jersey and shorts are contained within the pack here.

Deadline is 13 May 2026.
