STEM Clubs Technicians is a free programme for UK secondary schools, sixth forms and FE colleges that combines careers education with engaging, practical STEM activities.
The programme showcases six technicians’ careers across different industries. Each practical activity is representative of a real technical role and is supported by careers content, including information about:
- What the technician role involves
- Where the career can lead and how to get there
- The employability skills used in technical roles
- Real-world case studies and further resources
By linking practical STEM activities with real technicians, the programme helps young people relate classroom learning to the real-world context of technical careers.
