We’ve reached the end of another fantastic Summer Reading Challenge, and we’d like to extend a huge thank you to all the schools who helped make this year’s “Story Garden” a success. Whether you hosted an assembly, shared local events with parents, or encouraged children to join in by sending home bookmark invitations, your support has been invaluable.
This year’s highlights:
- 2,050 children took part
- 1,509 completed the challenge by reading 6 or more books (a 74% completion rate!)
- 694 new library members
- 45,851 junior books borrowed
- 3,929 digital junior book downloads
