This session is open to all schools in a Northumberland School Alliance. Thank you to those of you who have signed up to attend your Alliance moderation session.
The focus Early Learning Goals (ELGs) for the moderation sessions are ‘Speaking’ and ‘Writing’. We will also discuss up to 2 additional ELGs chosen by each Alliance group. Please come prepared with 3 children to discuss: one child who you confidently feel will achieve expected in the focus ELGs, one child who you feel will be emerging within the chosen ELGs and one child who is on the border between emerging and expected. If you have any children in receipt of Free School Meals, please use them as your children to discuss. You do not need to bring any recorded evidence. Please only bring what is useful for you to support moderation conversations, e.g., examples of children’s writing. If you have any questions about the session, please contact your Locality Early Years Consultant.
