Connected Readers: Grow a reading for pleasure culture

This FREE one-day conference brings together educators with external partner organisations to explore how collaborative approaches can build and sustain a strong reading for pleasure culture across school.
To celebrate the National Year of Reading, the North East Combined Authority has a limited pot of seed funding to support reading for pleasure partnership projects. Schools who attend the conference will be eligible to apply for a small number of grants of up to £2,000 to begin a partnership with a reading-focused organisation of their choice during the autumn term.
