j2e and the Computing Curriculum
Tue 10th Nov 2026
3.45pm – 4.45pm
A practical, hands-on training session showing how to use the Just2easy tool suite to deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned computing across KS1–KS2. Fully mapped to key elements of the NCCE/Teach Computing curriculum, this session demonstrates clear progression of skills and classroom-ready application.
Participants will explore three structured, ready-to-use activities:
-
KS1 – Digital Creation (Digital Painting): Showcasing how pupils can create a simple digital information poster using images, text, and basic multimedia features to communicate ideas.
-
LKS2 – Branching Databases (Data & Information): Showcasing how pupils can design and build a branching database to classify and sort items using yes/no questions and logical thinking.
-
UKS2 – Flat-File Databases (Data & Information): Showcasing how pupils can explore and interrogate datasets, using filtering and sorting to identify patterns and present findings.
Each activity demonstrates how Just2easy tools can be used to support progression in computational thinking, data handling, and digital creativity across the primary phase.
By the end of the training, teachers will feel confident in using Just2easy to enhance computing across the curriculum while clearly evidencing pupil progress. Go to School360 > Resources to access your j2e account.
