We support hundreds of apprentices each year and they are incredibly valuable to the council and to businesses across Northumberland.
Northumberland County Council are launching a NEW Care for Life Apprenticeship for anyone over the age of 16 looking for a career in adult social care. There are opportunities across the whole county with 30 places available for this cohort starting Sept 2019. The apprenticeship lasts 18 months, across three rotational placements.
We are holding drop-in information events where you can meet the apprenticeship and social care teams and talk to people who work in the job day to day. We have two sessions per day 10-12 and 1-3pm with a talk from ‘Skills for Care’ at 11am and 2pm.
Tuesday 23rd July – Alnwick Adult Learning Centre, Lindisfarne Road, NE66 1AX
Wednesday 24th July – Queen’s Hall Hexham, Beaumont St, NE46 3LZ
Thursday 25th July – Concordia Leisure Centre, Cramlington, NE23 6YB
