Registration now open for the Show Racism the Red Card School Competition
The Show Racism the Red Card School Competition is a UK-wide anti-racism-themed competition for schools. It’s free to enter, open to young people of all ages and abilities and is a great follow-on activity to education work about racism and equalities.
The competition is designed to stimulate discussion and understanding and to encourage pupils to think critically about issues surrounding racism. Pupils can take part by producing creative work on an anti-racism theme in any medium including artwork, creative writing, film and music.
Winning entries are shared by the charity in their posters, publications, on their website and social media, as well as featuring in the Show Racism the Red Card fundraising calendar.
Competition winners are invited to an awards ceremony with prizes presented by special guests, including big names from the world of sport. See the flyer for more information about categories and age groups.
To be involved you need to register your school by 28th February 2020 by visiting: https://www.theredcard.org/competitions
