Northumberland County Council’s Public Health Team are commissioning the Health-Related Behaviour Questionnaire (HRBQ) for pupils in year 6, year 9 and year 11. This free resource is analysed and evaluated externally and then returned to individual schools for personal ownership and can provide a solid evidence base to support the development of your RSHE curriculum.

“Useful to show OFSTED and make positive changes in school”

“It is very useful way of looking at opinions and behaviours in school”

The survey will provide invaluable data for education settings and partner agencies about the health and wellbeing of young people in Northumberland. Each completed survey will be anonymous and confidential and questions will cover a wide range of health behaviours, for example; emotional health and wellbeing, health eating and exercise, relationships, social media use and this year will include specific questions relating to covid 19 (Coronavirus).

Schools completing online will be able to see their results almost immediately, with full reports available end of February. A Northumberland wide summary will also be made available.

The survey should take around 30 mins. The survey is completed online but if any school would prefer paper copies that can be arranged (please only choose this option if absolutely necessary in the sign-up link below).
