Newcastle University ran a Knowledge Exchange Seminar at County Hall in December. Due to Covid-19 they have moved their seminars online and have decided to re-run some of the previous seminars including an education seminar. Full details are below.
Newcastle University Knowledge Exchange Seminar Series (NU-KESS) – A Learning City?
Series focusing on Newcastle University research that addresses local policy issues. This event will include a presentation from Professor David Leat arguing for a ‘Learning City’ approach, providing more joined-up, visible and coherent learning opportunities.

Series focusing on Newcastle University research that addresses local policy issues. This event will include a presentation from Professor Alison Stenning exploring the potential for the “playing out” model and include a final section with some reflections on children, streets and play in the context of covid-19 and physical distancing.
