We’re delighted to invite you and your colleagues with an interest in literacy to this exciting event in January, jointly presented by the National Literacy Trust and the University of Northumbria. The event features some work undertaken in Northumberland schools.
In addition to keynote presentations from Catharine Driver of the National Literacy Trust, and Alex Quigley of the EEF, there is the opportunity to hear from schools who have taken part in an extended CPD programme delivered by the National Literacy Trust and supported by colleagues at Northumbria university. The workshops will be a chance to learn about the challenges and successes experienced by schools who have prioritised literacy and to explore how their experiences are relevant to your own school.
As the new OFSTED Framework begins to embed, the materials and keynotes from this conference will support you in your preparations and ensure that your Literacy across the Curriculum policy is fit for purpose.
