Great North Museum: Hancock free events for Key Stage 2 pupils

Hadrian’s Wall Focus Day

2 half of days of virtual workshops, delivered by organisations from across Hadrian’s Wall. These sessions are all focused around Roman Britain, and in particular around Hadrian’s Wall. 

This event is free and takes place on the mornings of November 27 and 28. Schools can join as many, or few sessions as they wish. 

Time Odyssey

Full day visits taking place over the autumn term. Groups are set off on a quest around the museum. The children use a tablet, provided by us on the day to gather information and take photographs of objects. 

These events take place on various dates over the term. These are free visits and for groups with over 40% FSM a bursary for travel of £500 can be applied for.
