Here is a leaflet providing information on the fully funded STEM and Digital Skills Programme which has a number of different projects schools in the North of Tyne region can register their interest to participate in.
These include:
- Visit from Kielder Observatory where two experienced astronomers visit secondary, middle and special needs schools with a mobile planetarium and deliver workshops.
- NTCA Heritage STEM: Our Past, your future – project working with first and secondary schools to showcase links between the region’s industrial and creative traditions and highlight possible careers.
- Inspire North of Tyne – Digital Catapult: a series of STEM and digital enrichment events including careers fairs, school activities, on-site visits to local industry, CPD and specific events for SEND pupils.
- ConNect – digital making workshop course
