Children present differently in the post-pandemic world. There is a need for inclusive approaches to be in place for all students, not just those with SEND. Through The Difference Inclusive Leadership Course we are steadily improving our practice, allowing ourselves the time to trial strategies and refine them, celebrating current successes and using all interactions as learning opportunities. Inclusive Leadership Cohort 2023 – 2024
After a phenomenal first year, and strong testimonials from course participants, we are delighted that The Difference will be returning in September 2024 to run second North East Cohort of the Inclusive Leadership Course for Primary and Secondary school leaders.
Places will be FULLY-FUNDED by the North Tyne Combined Authority.

If you are not certain which leader from your school will attend the course, you can apply as if it is you, and then provide us with updated details by September 1st.
It is possible to place 2 leaders on the course from your school – this has proven to be very impactful.

The Inclusive Leadership Course equips leaders to better understand, and then plan and deliver the professional development response to inclusive challenges at a whole-school level.
Over 400 Headteachers, Deputy Heads and Assistant Heads from across the country have completed the course and improved exclusion, attendance, wellbeing and safeguarding outcomes for their students in Primary and Secondary settings
