Free evening careers opportunity for 14-19 year olds interested in clinical research

I am running an event in collaboration with the Great North Children’s Hospital and the Paediatric Clinical Research Facility at the RVI in Newcastle for young people aged 14 – 25.

Event details:

  • Monday 7th October
  • 4.30pm – 7pm (last registration will be at 5pm)
  • RVI, Leases Wing, Level 2, Clinical Research Facility

The aim of the event is to make young people more aware of the opportunities that are available to them in research, including possible future career pathways. There will be lots of interactive activities including CRP dummies, lab skills and the chocolate trail. Young people will also be asked for their feedback on the facility, aiming to make it a more inclusive and comfortable space for teenagers.

It is something really unique to add to a CV and should be a very fun evening. It will give them a glimpse of jobs they probably never even imagined existed.

Please could you share this opportunity with your networks/young people and encourage them to sign up via the link below.

We will have refreshments and snacks available on the night and everything is absolutely free of charge.

If you have any questions please get in touch with me.

Best wishes,
