The art competition is based upon HIV awareness, the competition seeks to address the public lack of understanding and misconceptions about HIV.
We are looking for entries that would represent either:
- Myths and truths about HIV
- Challenging Stigma surrounding HIV
- Understanding U = U – Undetectable = Untransmittable (Undetectable Viral Load = Untransmittable HIV)
Our Art competition has taken many forms since it began in 2003 and this year’s flyer (please see attached) includes images of some we have received over the past 17 years.
Newcastle, North Tyneside, Northumberland and Cumbria schools, as well as youth and adult community groups and individuals are invited to take part, and are welcome to contact us if they would like to have an HIV Awareness Workshop prior to the submission deadline. (see contact details below).
