CEOP-The Dark Web

The aim of this session is to build awareness of what the Dark Web is and why young people might access it, and to provide a basic understanding of the risks of the Dark Web.
What the session covers:
Definition of the Dark Web, Deep Web and Open Web
How the Dark Web can be accessed
The reasons why a young person might want to access the Dark Web
Identifying the risks associated with going on the Dark Web
What to do if a young person has accessed the Dark Web
CEOP Six Part Series
Roles and responsibilities were more clearly outlined by the Dfe last year. We strongly advise DSLs to attend the full series of CEOP sessions listed below to ensure they have a strong foundational knowledge of online risks and can pass relevant information to their colleagues. Other members of staff are of course very welcome to attend. When booking please confirm you’re able to attend each of the sessions:
