CEOP-Nude Image Sharing
Tuesday 8th April, 2025
The aim of this session is to help professionals identify the difference between consensual and non-consensual nude image sharing, how to help prevent non-consensual sharing of images and use the UK Council for Internet Safety’s guidance to help them deal with incidents within their setting. The session will also outline the issue of victim-blaming in the context of nude-image sharing and ways to challenge this with children and young people, and other professionals.
What the session covers:
What is consensual nude and semi-nude image sharing
Why children and young people might share nudes and semi-nudes
The law around nude image sharing
What is non-consensual nude image sharing
What is the impact of non-consensual nude image sharing
Helping to prevent non-consensual sharing of images through education
