West Venue: Yr6 Writing Moderation Meeting

Time: Arrive at 3:30pm. Meeting will run from 3:45-5pm

Required Material: Teachers should bring books for 3-6 pupils

During the first part of the session, a key statement from the teacher assessment framework will be unpicked using national training materials:
– Year 6 teachers will look at the integration of dialogue in narrative to convey character and advance action.
Following this input, teachers will then have time to look through some of their own pupils’ writing books concentrating on, and evidencing, the statement for their key stage.
