Early Years Pupil Premium
Did you know if you claim EYPP correctly, children attract an hourly rate of at least £4.53?
This is how you claim….
  • On your headcount/census return, include the following pieces of information;

    • Parent’s NI number

    • Parent’s DOB

    • Parent’s Surname

Please note – All 3 pieces of information are required. Any information missing will prevent us from checking EYPP eligibility.

  • We will let you know the results by adding a list of eligible children to your school360 account.

  • From April 2020 deprivation will be paid to children eligible to EYPP as an additional amount to the £0.53 and not routed via their post code/IDACI.

Stretched Entitlement
Stretched entitlement can be difficult to calculate. This document explains how to work out weekly funded hours and gives some examples of stretched entitlement split.

SLA – Schools
If any of your children are entitled to EYPP, one term of EYPP funding for 6 children will pay for your SLA and it’s a great way of evidencing how you are spending additional funding to support your practice in quality first teaching which will help to narrow the gap.
