Early Years Update

Dear Colleagues,
30 Hours for Spring Term
Please ensure you are reminding parents to apply ASAP to receive their code before the cut-off date (31/12/2019). Please validate 30 hour codes and check Date of Birth eligibility before offering a child a place. You can find some useful communication tools here.
Please check your 30hr Entitlement Summary in the Wizard and remind your current 30 hour parents to reconfirm on time to continue to access 30 hours next term.
Health & Wellbeing Event Update
Following the Health and Wellbeing Event in March we received a surmountable amount of evidence. We initially intended to collate all feedback and use it to create a good practice guide. When we started to draft the guidance we had some further ideas which has meant that the document has taken a lot longer to develop than we had initially planned. We trust the new format of the guidance will be much more useful and meaningful. We hope to have this completed by early next year. In the meantime, we thank you for all your feedback and patience whilst we develop the guidance document.

We are delighted to let you know that activation emails have now been sent to all schools and settings. All early years providers should now be able to log in to the Northumberland School Readiness Passport system.
As previously shared, please find guidance videos and walkthroughs for the Northumberland School Readiness Passport on the training padlet.
If you require any further information, please contact your Early Years Consultant for support.
